About
I am a writer interested in the quiet shifts that reshape women's lives—the moments when what's worked up until now might no longer fit, and we have to figure out what comes next.
My essays explore the space between who we were and who we are becoming. I write about identity and reinvention, independence and connection, the weight of expectations and the possibility of setting them down.
What draws me to these topics is the recognition that change rarely arrives as a single dramatic event. More often, it accumulates—small shifts that we barely notice until we look up and realize we are standing somewhere new. I try to pay attention to those moments, to trace the shape of transformation as it actually happens rather than as we imagine it should.
I've spent some great years as a communications consultant helping organizations like Coke, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Life University tell their stories, communicating with stakeholders, writing features for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and ghostwriting books and speeches for corporate and non-profit leaders. Now I'm interested in exploring and sharing the stories of how women identify what's most meaningful to them and then follow the powerful impulse to reinvent themselves. It's at the heart of much of what I write.
My debut novel, Unexpected, will be published in April 2027. It's a story about the life that emerges when the one you expected falls away—about leaving and staying, fear and excitement, hard choices that bring you closer to who you want to be.
I don't know that I feel like I've ever really arrived at that point (who I want to be), or even know exactly where I'm headed. But conversation and connection with other women always strengthens me on the way.
